Week 1 - Getting Started with LiveCode

This week you will learn to get around in LiveCode and use the Integrated Development Environment (IDE). You will learn a few basic commands, about event programming and have some fun writing a few basic programs.
We will learn the following:
  • Using the LiveCode IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
  • Answer command
  • Ask command
  • If - then command
  • If - then - else command
  • Importing images for backgrounds
You will be doing the following assignments:
  • Hello World program
  • What Grade? program
  • Area Calc. program
