Feel free to contact me at any time. If your child has any special needs or requirements, I will be glad to try and accomodate them if I can.
I can email you updates or progress reports on a regular basis if you wish.
Make mistakes, and learn from them
As with anything, you get better with practice. You learn by making mistakes. The most brilliant people are not necessarily smarter than you. They just have made more mistakes and have done more than you. Creativity and problem solving are the result of drawing from past mistakes and from other experiences to.
So it is, the more you do, the more you learn. Adjunct to that, is that the more mistakes you make, the better you know something
Finally, doing classwork, homework and ultimately, learning is your responsibility. I am here to guide you and help you learn. But it is you who ultimately have to learn it and learn it yourself. (Not learning something, only hurts you in the future).
Just like a sport, it takes practice and reflection. Just doing the same thing over and over does not necessarily make you a master of it. To get better, you need to look at what you are doing wrong or see how you can do it better. So in this analogy, I am your coach. I will help you get better. You just have to make up your mind and do the work.
And most of all, try to have fun doing it. It is so much easier that way.
